With having 2 children (in car seats), 2 bikes, 2 bike trailers, coolers, and all of the other camping stuff for an extended camping trip we knew it was this or take 2 cars. The Thule cargo box will pay for itself in several camping trips with the current price of gas. The amount of items this cargo box can hold is amazing. We were able to fit a double bike trailer, a single bike trailer, sleeping bags, pillows, and more. I've also used it for a weekend shopping trip with the ladies. The attachment to the car is easy. My husband and I had it done in less than 10 minutes. We own an Acura MDX and some reviews I saw said we would need a special adapter to attach it to the roof rack but this was not the case. We ordered the adapter but have not had to use it. I would recommend this cargo box to anyone who needs extra storage space.
